Terre de Mistral Rosalie Rose de Provence 2021

Rosalie is a perennial go-to from Domaine Terre de Mistral, a 123 acre estate near Aix en Provence in the town of Russet. Founded by two local families, the Geurys and the Davicos, the estate produces classic Provencal white, red and rosé wines as well as olive oil and honey near the base of the famously beautiful St Victoire mountain, a site immortalized in the paintings of Cézanne. Light to medium bodied, this Syrah, Cabernet and Cinsault blend shows tons of fresh cherries, watermelon and white peaches with an exotic citrus note framed by tingling acidity and crystalline minerality. Dry and pure, the 2019 drinks great on its own as an aperitif but will shine with mediterranean classics like bouillabaisse, fresh fish with aioli, or confit chicken.
