Lioco Pinot Noir Mendocino 2021

As a part of the “New California” wine movement that had its beginnings in the early 2000’s, LIOCO is sometimes overshadowed by their flashier contemporaries. These are just the sort of California wines we look for at Revel, however: fleshy, but never heavy or overburdened by oak. A dream at the table; and affordable! The Mendocino Pinot noir is fermented in open-top tanks with 10% whole clusters and aged 8 months in a mix of neutral French oak and stainless steel. A textbook California Pinot with notes of dark cherries, plums, rose and subtle spice. This is an all-around crowd pleaser that will make turkey shine!
