Grange Tiphaine Touraine Amboise Rouge "Ad Libitum" 2020

We’d consider this a typical table wine of the area surrounding Touraine-Amboise. A field blend of Gamay, Cabernet Franc and Cot (aka Malbec), the grapes are all vinified separately and blended in concrete tank for 5 months before bottling. This wine can be enjoyed with a slight chill and paired with a variety of cheeses and charcuterie as the notes of bright cherries and pomegranate pop with a slight bit of black pepper. The time is now to grab wines from this estate with the issues that have faced many parts of Europe for the ’21 vintage. Coralie and Damien are hoping to have half of the vintage they did in previous years due to frost, rain and hail this spring and summer.
