Donkey & Goat Lily's Pet Nat 2019
Jared and Tracey Brandt have been making wine naturally in California since 2003. Inspired by a year spent in the Rhone Valley with famed winemaker Eric Texier, the couple learned everything they could before returning to build their own urban winery just outside of San Francisco. Here they oversee native yeast fermentations and employ minimal intervention to craft food friendly, moderate abv wine from organically farmed vineyards throughout the state.
Their 2019 Lily's Pet Nat is 98% Chardonnay and 2% Roussanne resulting from spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel tank, bottled to finish fermentation and disgorged with zero additions.
