Clos Lentiscus Reserva Familia is a Blanc de Noirs sparkling wine that has been crafted from the red grape varietal, Sumoll. These Sumoll grapes were harvested off of grapevines that were planted in 1939 at the La Torrentera vineyards in the mountains of the Massís del Garraf Natural Park. These grapevines are planted in soils with low fertility and high levels of minerals.
All of the grapes used to craft this Brut Nature Reserve sparkling wine were harvested by hand, then delicately pressed at the winery to avoid the must from receiving coloration, making this a Blanc de Noir sparkling wine. Native yeast fermentation in oak barrels followed by taryhe second fermentation in bottle with 30 months aging on the lees. This winery strictly follows the traditional or champagne production and no liqueur de triage was added during its disgorgement. Brut Zero. 6,300 bottles produced.
