Chateau Kashmi wines are made using a traditional Georgian winemaking method dating back 8,000 years. Rkatsiteli, one of the world’s oldest grape varieties, is made in many styles. Kashmi’s is an orange wine fermented dry with aromas of orange peel and white flowers. All fruit is hand-harvested and sorted and after a gentle crushing, the juice is fermented with pomace and stems, then stored in large, egg-shaped clay pots underground for one year. This wine’s freshness and attractive perfume makes for a versatile match with sushi, spicy Thai, or fried chicken.
