Alexia Perlingieri is the 3rd generation of her family to farm in Solopaca, a beautiful but brutal and dry part of Campania. Alexia has taken over the work that her mother took over from her grandfather and is now farming two parcels, totaling thirteen hectares, organically. Her white wines are exactly what one hopes to nd in Campania: bright, fresh, lled with minerals, citrus, and light stone fruits and the reds, Aglianico and Sciascinoso, are complex and powerful while maintaining very fresh fruit and acidity. All grapes are picked and sorted by hand. This tank fermented 2017 Fiano speaks to the grape’s ancient Greek origins, with a core of mouthwatering acidity, a seductive fragrance and beautiful restraint on the palate.
