Bosman is an 8th generation family story of grape growing and wine making. Since 1707, the Bosman
family has been practicing a deep commitment to people and nature. In 2008, the family initiated
the largest land reform transaction to date in South African wine history, providing their full time
employees with a 26% share of the business and vineyard holdings. They received an official Fair
Trade accreditation and were recognized as the 2015 winner of the International Challenge
Fairtrade Trophy. Their winemaker, Natasha Williams, is a leading member of a young generation
of female, African, winemakers, a movement started by Ntsiki Biyela of Aslina.

Natasha is a dynamic winemaker from the small town of Saron on the Western Cape. She studied Viticulture and Oenology at Stellenbosch University. While part of the Bosman team, in 2016 she completed a harvest under Merry Edwards, honing her skills with Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.

"Fides" is crafted from bush vines planted in 2011 on decomposed granite soils on a vineyard named Kleinplasie. 100% Grenache Blanc went through a 3 week natural fermentation on the skins with daily punch downs and pump-overs. The wine was then gently pressed, aged in 25% new Russian oak for 8 months prior to bottling. ush vines planted in 2011 on decomposed granite soils on a vineyard named Kleinplasie.
